Full job description
Tow Pro is seeking reliable, skilled and experienced heavy-duty operators to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient heavy-duty towing and recovery services while ensuring the safety of vehicles and their occupants. This role requires a strong understanding of towing, automotive and mechanical knowledge, as well as quick thinking skills to handle various situations on and off the roadway.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty tow trucks, perform towing and recovery services on various commercial vehicles and equipment
- Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied.
- Communicate effectively with customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including vehicle condition reports and service documentation.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on provided equipment to ensure they are in safe, well working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) relative to truck operated is required; experience in commercial driving.
- Ability to strategize in challenging situations effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and be on your feet for hours at a time.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
